UMP convenes Inner London councils for roundtable
The Urban Mobility Partnership recently brought together members, transport industry experts and local authority representatives for a roundtable discussion on the future of Inner London’s streets. Representatives attended from Islington Council, Newham Council, Lewisham Council, Hackney Council, the City of London Corporation, Camden Council and Westminster City Council.

The piece explores how automation, electrification and mobility-as-a-service are reshaping the sector this year – from London’s supervised robo-taxi trials and the power demands of automation in logistics, to the practical constraints around grid capacity and EV infrastructure (including the emerging role of eHGV charging hubs).
