The Urban Mobility Partnership is calling for reducing personal car usage for business travel to align with decarbonisation goals. UMP recommends making grey fleet reduction part of clean air and transport plans, removing car requirements from contracts, assessing alternatives, and collaborating with providers.
Nationally, UMP is calling for tax incentives to be introduced for sustainable modes, as well as updating benefit-in-kind taxes, and government guidance on alternative transport to cut costs and emissions. The partnership aims to promote sustainable commuting and business travel to support decarbonisation and economic recovery.
