The Urban Mobility Partnership’s (UMP) call for the UK government to provide long-term funding to incentivise sustainable transport and move people away from private car usage has been featured in Citti Magazine.
UMP has proposed £90m to encourage local authorities to invest in Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) solutions and £100m to expand mobility credits schemes. UMP said its budget submission focuses on accessible, multimodal policies aligned with the government’s transport decarbonization plan.
